I thought this would be just a song book, however, it is a system of teaching that I am not familiar with.

I could not understand it and returned it.

Exceptional book. I teach early ed (Pre-K) through grade 6, and this is such a great resource for anyone that sings, teaches, or has children. This is such a great book, it is required reading for the Kodaly programs of reputable music programs…

I use songs from this book daily in my music classes for Kindergarten through 5th grade. I think it is the most concise, accurate, and fairly priced collection of American folk songs you will find. If you are a parent, music lover, or music teacher, this book is for you!
